I actually spoke to the guy. He was rude and tried telling me he was a U.S Treasury rep. He explained my taxes were improperly filed in 2012. When I asked him questions, he said I was being rude and I should let him finish his sentence. I realized it was a scam when I demanded he give me the address associated with this claim against me and asked him what my social was. He ended up hanging up on me.
Just got a message from Steve Martin with the U.S. treasury Service saying he was calling to stop an enforcement action as long as I called him. Said if I ignored his call I would have to go before Fed. Magistrate or judge. I don't believe we have magistrates in this country.
