CID says "Highlights." They keep calling and not leaving a message, so screw 'em. Today I picked up and listened. A male voice (human) said "Hello? Mizzrzz* Blank**?" (* - could have been "mister" or "mrs." He slurred it too much to tell. ** - "Blank" = our last name)

If it is Highlights magazine, they must be trying to score a gift subscription for our grandkids, or something. We haven't had a Highlights subscription for over a quarter century. And if it is legit, why don't they leave a d**m message?!? Maybe they're operating under an old assumption that messages never get a response, but there's a new paradigm now: we refuse to do business with anyone who doesn't have the courtesy to leave a message. Act like a professional instead of like a bottom-feeder, and maybe I'll pick up next time.
