some scamming loser. Number does call back but it gives you prompts to speak with someone, remove from list, and direct connect to fcc, if it works. tried to get real person but they were busy. I say scammer because never is the company name revealed on message.
yesterday I got 8 of these types of calls, today its 10:30 am and already got 3.. it's outta control. This number asked for me by first & last name (obviously my name/number is being sold to other telemarketers) and asked if I was the owner. I asked why are they calling and did they want to book an appointment. I also ask tell them why should I say who I am without knowing what they are up to cuz for all I know the caller is sitting in a prison on a pay phone down the hall making scam calls all day. When I start asking them lots of questions they typically hang up as they realize I'm not gonna play with them. But it is a HUGE nuisance as often I am talking to a real customer and these calls interrupt my business flow. Maybe if Hillary, Bernie & Liz Warren get to the White House they can put the kabbash on this harrassment.
415-991-4997 just called our business. Caller ID showed up as San Rafael CA. Answered the call and there was no sound, no voice, nothing for the first 5 seconds, then the tell-tale "BLOOP" sound. Before the computer or the person could start talking, we hung up on them and blocked the number.
