Someone claiming they were from "The Logic Group", When I asked to be removed from their call list, the caller said, "I can't remove you, our software automatically dials random numbers." I asked again to be removed from the list and she again said that their software could not be overridden. I asked what kind of company The Logic Group was and she said something about surveys or opinions. I asked who the information gets sold to and she didn't know. I asked if they had a website and she said no. I asked why the phone number comes up as 416-000-0000 and she said, "Our software does that." Sounds pretty fishy to me.
I just got six calls in a row from this number on my cell phone. Declined the 1st and 6th, answered the 2nd-5th. No one responded when I answered so I hung up. 6th call left a couple second-long voicemail that was blank, no sound.
Someone earlier mentioned TD Bank - I know that is associated with Rooms To Go... Could it be their telemarketers?
Just received a call from this number. It began with a recorded message saying "This is your credit card company. This is our second time attempting to reach you. Press 1 to speak with someone about lowering your interest rate." I wanted to know who the company was, so when a human picked up, I asked. He proceded to use a level of profanity that I cannot explain. And then hung up.

I receieved a call today at 11:24am from an Ontario Company regarding credit card last chance opportunity. When I stated to the gentleman (that is not what I'd call him) that my legal rights, according to the US Fed. Goverment, "I am asking that my phone number be removed from their derectory". He replied with such vulgor language it was offending.
He used the MF word many times...and stated that he wanted to F my wife... my daughter, etc. I told the man that the call was being recorded and he didn't care! He kept on with the offensive attack of threats and langauge. I did tell him that this would be reported to his supervior and he didn't care. I am doing whatever it takes to track them down and to report this phone call and threats.
