Who called from 4160007954

I just had a call from 1-416-000-7954, I didnt answer because it was on my cell phone and I was at work, but the voicemail went on about some car warranty expiry. NOT IMPRESSED!!

They just called my mobile phone.  I don't bother answering and they don't leave a message.  They have been calling me from a few American numbers and now they are using a 416 number.  You are wasting your time with me.  I have a pay as go phone and I am the child of a well known tightwad.

Just got a call, a half an hour ago.  I wasn't there to answer, but had voice mail.  No voice was left, was silent.

I am with Telus - pay and talk for personal use and rarely use my phone.

The annoying thing is why reverse searches says it is invalid.  Why was the call able to be made in the first place.

Just received call 1-416-000-7954. When I call back, it says that "cannot connect, check and dial again" This is scam a I wonder, why authorities don't do anything ?

My cell is unlisted with Fido.  It appears, from reading these posts, that they're hitting all the cell companies in Canada.  According to this article it's legal:

I thought it was illegal for scum like this to call cell numbers in Canada?
