Just got that call today (18th), they are trying to sell a car warranty that most car companies and mechanics won't honor. Still trying to get off thier calling list.
No, it is not a Facebook thing. I do not put any phone numbers on Facebook, and in fact I have only given my cell phone number out to my 2 kids. I moved far from my home town a couple of years ago and don't really know anyone here so I haven't given my cell out to anyone and yet I have been getting the same warranty calls from 416-000-xxxx almost everyday on both my personal cell and my work Blackberry, both of which are using Telus! Maybe Telus sold us all out, or the telemarketer's have finally caught up to all of us at the same time? hmmm, too coincidental, I think the former may be the answer. Greed, anything for a buck eh?
