This time a Woman called and asked if my mastercard or visa were handy, I said no, she asked could u get it and a pen and paper, I said no. She then named 4 banks that i couldve got it my cards from and one was true, then i told her i wasnt doing anything over the phone and she hung up. Also sounded east indian.
I got the thick Indian accent "I am calling from Master Card customer appreciation center, you have won a free trip, because you are a preferred customer with excellent credibility". I told him, that was odd because I didn't have a Master Card, then he said "....but you have a Visa or other credit card don't you?" I said no, I don't use credit cards and he hung up...lol. This is the kind of shitpump I would love to get my hands on, I worry about the people he actually gets to.
I just received a call from this number. He knew my last name and wanted to confirm I was a VISA/ MasterCard holder. I was suspicious as I said yes but did so because I've had legitimate calls from my credit card company. Then my brain woke up as I finished saying that because why would he confirm one or the other.
He then informed me that because of my Rewards earnings I had won a two week vacation; I interrupted him, said "No, thanks", and hung up. I immediately Googled the number and found this site. I wanted to find the digits to enter so the police could track it if necessary but had received another call already.
I just got a call from this guy, sounded kind of chinese, i said hello and he kind of stuttered my last name, i said whos calling he said what are you doing today,, i told him im working then asked what do you want? he then said he's sorry to disturb me he'll call back later, i said hell no why do you need to call back, where are you calling from? he said Canada, I asked from what company, he said No company hes at home, then i said dont call me again or ill charge you with harrassment then he started saying oh sexy girl etc. etc... i said dont f'n call me again he said if i hang up he's calling back, then i hung up, and he did call back but i didnt answer and just called my bf who googled the number and found this site, then i called the police, who said theyve had alot of calls about this. hmmm, so stupid to do this to people. especially since i am a single mother who lives alone with my child. they could easliy have my address :s
