James anderson.. He says his other name on facebook is rafello. He asked me about my brother cell phone information asked me if I had a boyfriend, I told him I was fifteen and he said he was nineteen and then he proceeded to tell me he was going to come to my house (he said my correct address) and that he was going to f*u*c*k me. He is a disturbing man. I then got my mom to answer when he called back and she wanted to speak to a manager and he said no.
Asked for the wife of the household and when I said they weren't home they asked my age and I stupidly replied because I wasn't really paying attention. I said I was 17 in hopes that they'd go away because I can't do surveys if i'm not over 18 but then they asked what school I went to so I asked why and then I said I was just about to leave and had to go and he asked if he could call again later and I asked why because didn't he want to speak to the household owner and he said no he wants to talk to me. I asked why again and he said because he likes me. I just said I have to go and hung up. Creepy.
Sorry by the way I put that message it sounds like I'm the husband lol. I'm the daughter and wondering if the police should be notified as it is disturbing and I don't want to think of what they would ask younger kids who answer the phone or if they are dangerous.

I'm a telephone guy and thought I'd give you some info:
1) when you are getting calls from this number and there is no one there it is because they are using a "predictive dialer". What this device does is anticipate that one of their agents is about to finish a call and starts dialing the next call. If no agent is ready the caller gets silence, waiting for the agent to free up. They do this to try and optimize how many calls their agents can do. Reputable companies have the timers set so there is less nuisance factor, but scam companies like this don't care.
2) This has been reported to police but they could end up with a dead end. The number could be tracked to a company out of country and by the time they find who it is sold to the company has moved on. This is particularly an issue with VoIP as the police may need to track down IP addresses and the like to try and find their physical whereabouts.
3) Because the number is not getting through means that the phone company providing it has probably already recognized this is a problem and has disconnected them. Odds are the phone company will get stuck with a lot of unpaid bills.
