Got a call from this number - a heavily accented female saying she is calling about my Windows computers and they are receiving stuff from my computer. I told her I don't have a Windows computer and she hung up.
The guy called and said he was calling about our personal microsoft windows computer. well, I knew it was a scam right away. I told him we don't have a windows computer and I was reporting him to the police.
a Loose ball called from 416-360-0172 claiming he is calling from Microsoft head office , seems he had information that windows on my computer crashed three four days back and he wants to rectify. wanted to know if I were in front of my computer, wanted me to open windows and press R button I didn't, but when I started asking him questions, he hang up. This is a scam, will try to get access to your computer registry. These guys are scamster, never ever believe them. Tell them, they are already reported to police.
Same number. Same Indian accent. Told me he was: "Officer Neal" from Visa/Mastercard office. Called him a scam artist. Asked him questions. Asked for his email address and he got flustered and gave me some random yahoo account. I hung up.
