Got a call from CVB they tried telling me i owed 800 dollars for a virgin mobile phone I never got. They did not have my address and have called numerous times . She proceeded to give me the number1-800-900-2331 and told me it was virgin mobiles number but when you call it it says it is restricted. found out this number is a scam that calls people about debt to winning a prize. They have also gave me three addresses on different times i have talked to them where i am supposed to live. I never received any thing in the mail about this and the3y do not have my address. I believe this is a scam I once called the police to report the call and was told it was a scam and they where committing fraud.
Hate to inform you but they DO use abusive words with people,, They called here and wouldnt speak to anyone,,Finally a woman came on the phone and got very abusive with me...she said i was avoiding her calls,, i said, sorry i dont know who you are but i havent been home,, my mother was ill and still is and is in pallative care,, she wont be around too long,, the lady said,, and i quote "well to bad for you isnt it, if she dies you better hope she leaves you money",,, then she hung up,, the next day i got a call saying "is she dead yet" from the same number and she hung up,,nice huh?
this number is also a collection agaent for virgin mobile. they call but never leave a message which is crap. how are you to return someones calls when they dont tell you who they are looking for!
These people claim to be a collection agency, and say that I owe $326 for an unpaid Bell account. I have never had any services with Bell period. This is very concerning as the got a hold of a 2 week old phone number, my SIN # (which I don't give out to anyone, except employers and the bank, and definatly not Bell), and date of birth.
I called Bell to see if I have any accounts with them and after giving them my only 3 addresses I have ever lived at, name, and number, they confirmed I never had any accounts with them.
THIS IS SOME KIND OF SCAM AND WILL NOT PAY OFF YOUR DEBTS!
