I just received a phone call from this number.. The guy started swearing at my parents telling them to fix ther computer.. I took the phone from my dad and told thus guy to calm down and that we weren't buying anything!! The guy told md to f myself and to smash my computer.. I'm like wtf is this guy goin on about a computer?! And then he told me that he was with myomere last night?! Lol like grow the f up kid, I hope I find out who's doin this, ill break his legs, you hear!?

So it must be someone running a scam out of their house. When it rings it rings as long distance and there is no one there just dead silence that is all.
I am in the UK and phoned my events system provider in Canada. He said usually my number comes up as 'Unknown' but in this instance it came up as though it was domestic to Canada and the number was 416-555-5555. It sounds like it's a number that replaces companies' telephone numbers when they are listed as Unknown... not sure if that's the case but it's a theory.
In my experience, like mentioned above, it was a calling card routed via Canada. We have relatives in Iran and when they call using their calling card, that's what the number is listed as.
