Unfortunately surveys are allowed under the DNCR. However I do believe some operations are using surveys as a front for what is actually a scam and that is why I refuse to answer callers I am not familiar with.
Why on earth would you state here that you do not want them to call? Do you seriously think they are checking here and honouring people's requests that they not call? Do you think messages here are being passed to them?
Probably a call from a skip tracer trying to locate an individual for a debt collector. Don't give them any info. They use all sorts of tactics/lies to find a person.
