My call display showed this call (which I did not answer) coming from the 416-665-8366 number at the same time as it registered as coming from +741-665+8366! This indicates an overseas call using an in-country number to carry the call in Canada. They have called often but never leave a message. Scam! Beware!
Got same call today at 5:30 pm PDT. Claim to be Visa Mastercard credit cards... What the...???? They have my address and obviously, my phone nbr.. The guy never mentioned my name. Phiew!!! I kept him on the line for a while, just to waste his time. He became impatient and pushy and I gave him a piece of my mind.
Assuming the number isn't spoofed, it's likely from a Rogers cell phone. I should know; my Toronto phone number is on the 416-662 exchange and it's with Rogers.
