They continue to call, I keep pressing the number to have me removed yet they keep calling. All about lowering interest rates on your credit card. A bunch of gangsters that should be shut down!
Sadly all they'll do is call back from the next number up on the list. I don't know if your Panasonic has a limit on how many calls to block. Telus' call screen service only allows 10, which is a joke. (Replying because I just got the call which I didn't answer, of course. Credit card companies and banks will never contact you direct about interest rates on cards and if they call regarding a security issue you're usually directed to go to an actual branch to deal with it in the case of bank cards and credit cards are usually shut off if there's a breach.)
I got the same scam caller. He claimed to be from the "verification department of Visa and Mastercard". I toyed with him a bit. When I asked him which company he represented, he just repeated that he was with the verification department of Visa and Mastercard. When I told him they were different, competing companies, he got all dodgy. I trolled him a bit more before he finally hung up. I want to report him. Where do you report these numbers?
