Call me 1 - 3 times a week always heavy asian accent with North American Names like, Joeseph, James, tell them not to call take me off of theiIr list, doesn't happen. Tell them they already called this week they tell me I am mistaken. Tonight I said I don't want my air ducts cleaned by you don't call back then the guy on the phone asked if I would clean his dick! After asking him to repeat himself 4 times to be sure what he was saying I asked if he could speak English and he said yes, I want to Fu*k you - I laid into him good then someone else got on the line to ask what was wrong and I told him what the guy had just said to me he said I must have misunderstood I said I was calling the police and he hung up. I am with everyone else out there I am just going to book appointments and give them address of police department, mall, subway etcc.... let them be annoyed the same way they are annoying everyone else. No one will do anything about the harrassing calls and the scamming so must take matters into your own hands.
Got a call from "Justin" probably really Janjit from India. Wanted to sell me duct cleaning service since his company did my ducts a couple of years ago.........NOT. I told him that I thought it would cost me too much to use his company since he would have to fly from India to Toronto and that wasn't a cheap flight. I informed him that I have received TOO MANY calls from "his company" and that I insist that I be taken off his call list. He won't like what I have to say next time "he" calls.
The DNCL is useless against these scum. The calls originate from a call center in Lahore Pakistan. The center out scoures any leads to duct cleaning services in the GTA and elsewhere.
The Feds have no jurisdiction over telemarketers scum or otherwise calling from outside Canada. Complaining to the authorities in the country of origin is pointless.
Best I can suggest spend a few more dollars a month for Call Display. Do not answer any call that does not display a name and phone number.
A cheater trick. These scum often call from a bogus 416 number that rings long distance in 416. So if your not expecting a long distance don't answer the phone.
