Some hard to understand guy with a very strong accent called from a very noisy call center. Claimed his name was James and that they randomly selected our number for some Bell Canada promotion. Days ago we negotiated an excelled retention deal with Bell's loyalty department, so I highly doubt that this call was from Bell. James and the background chatter sounded like one of these duct cleaning telemarketers
Telemarketer who claimed to be from Rogers and identified himself as Henry. Henry had a very strong accent and called on a very poor quality phone line; besides what sounded like a party going on in the background. I doubt it was Rogers, more likely a phishing scam call from a boiler room operation.
Some hard to understand woman called at work and tried to sell us Bell TV, home phone, and internet services. Googled the 416-877-0877 number and found this page. Any clued-in telemarketer would know if they are calling a business or a residence. Looking at the post above, what are the chances that Bell and Rogers have the same phone number. Clearly a scam!
They called during our Sunday dinner and wanted to sell us Rogers services. We are on the do not call list and have no services from these Rogers robbers. Then this guy hangs up one me when I asked her to respect the do not call list
