We got a letter, not a call from Silhouettes, LLC, address 20 King St, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K6V 3P6 tel#'s :416.879.7728 and 647 887-2456. No listing in canada411 for either tel #'s or the business name. Also checked Better Business Bureau Canada, and US and no listing for either the company name or telephone numbers. Also did goolge and yahoo search for the company name. Nothing.
I've found many postings from people receiving identical letters, but the tel#'s are diff or the company names on it are diff. They said the did as asked (of course cashing the check) and got their accounts wiped out!
I googled the "batch no lp/lt 77523" and it took me to a website ripoffreport.com. Same exact letter, names and numbers changed. This report was from Jan 2009. Tried to search the site for the batch # or the claim # or the company name. Nothing. I even google mapped the address. When i did 20 king st in ottawa, it was a house, and a pretty big one i might add. then i did 20 king st in NORTH DUNDAS. Diff location, but the postal codes looked the same.
Not worth the risk of loosing everything I have over 100k.
YEP, No phone call but wife and I got the Same exact letter as Sepictal, and i even googled map the address, pops up in a farm area in Canada.. this is a big scam... Hope no one fell for it....
