I'm glad I'm not the only one who disliked Branson! We went to a family reunion there. The woman who called today said she was taking a survey then she worked it into a sales pitch. I told her I had no desire to visit Branson again.
Caller was female and had a heavy accent. Kept asking for my husband (calling him by his first name), and I kept asking what she wanted. The only word I could understand was Branson, Missouri. We were there for a Viet Nam Veterans Reunion November 2014. The water is harsh at the "resort" which dried out our skin, and the food wasn't anything to brag about. The resort used pressure to con us into purchasing a "timeshare" which is a racket. My relatives had one and it's just a money pit. I told the woman we don't like Branson and would never go back - then I hung up on her.
