Same call from Glen Wilkin. Asian man with very poor English speaking skills told me my computer had a Malasian virus. Said he was from Microsoft Windows. I hung up. Has called three times in one week. I don't answer if it's 417-678-3449. Never leaves a message. Where can I report these scam calls?
This number has called my home several times, I haven't answered, but when I do answer these types of scams my response is always "I'm so happy you called, my husband works with the FBI cyber fraud division and he would love to speak with you". They hang up fast and it usually does the trick.
I didn't feel like playing today with the computer thieves. The last time I acted like I was doing what they said. When they asked what do you see on your screen now? I said I see a thief! They didn't seem to appreciate it since i wasted so much of their time.
caller said she was from microsoft and wanted to help. so I played along for a minute. she wanted to open a cmd thing and i said ok. then she asked what do you see I said
F....U....C....K Y....O....U then she said you see you hahaha I hung up
In addition to telling him "I don't have a computer," I quickly added, "As a matter of fact, I don'the even own a phone." He hesitated quite a bit as if trying to figure out what to say next.
