This company must be using the no call list to make their calls, along with spidering every toll free number on the web. They call daily from multiple area codes claiming that it's urgent you speak to someone regarding your Google account. DO NOT PRESS 1!!! Press 9 and hope they\'ll remove you from their list, but I doubt it.
Its one of the thousands of subcontracted google rep. companies calling from a new spoofed number everyday. The one thing I can tell you is it is robotic, answering only helps them verify the good number for return calling. They will call from other countries that have no laws against this.
First get caller id, the numbers always come up has unknown or assist. sometimes google.
Second get a call blocker and program every number you verify to hang up on incoming so you will not be bothered on vacation.
Last list your number in the do not call registry,
Bout all u can do. Are law enforcement has no clue how to combat this yet.
I am on the DNC. I just got a call from 419-216-9302. I got "Kevin" to reveal a callback number 888-770-3950. He claimed company was Internet Local Listings. I get a call or two per day from this and other companies claiming to do search engine optimization. SEO is a ripoff, Calling numbers on the DNC list is illegal. I have tried for years to get these callers to stop. They will not remove you from their system any more than a spammer will stop.
