Just received a call from 419-474-9385. I answered the phone and this very rude guy said to someone else in that room, "she answered the phone" ... and then he hung up on me! So.... I CALLED the telephone number back and it rang and rang and rang. Finally an "operator" said that "no one is available to answer your call at this time" and then I was disconnected from them!! I am calling the FCC on this one because that guy that called was very rude in his tone of voice and slammed the phone down on me. I am fed up with these NP's that are really SCAM artists, and they make legitimate NP's suffer.
I asked if he could here my police radio in the backround? He said he could, So I said then I know this call is BS and I only give to my local FOP and told him not to call back. I would guess the A-hole will call back again.
I received calls from this number 5 or more times a day sometimes. This has been going on for at least 3 weeks. I let it go directly to v-mail; no message is ever left.
A guy from this number just called me. Asked for my wife by name (not her legal name, mind you, so he knew some not-so-public detail) and then asked for me, again by name. When I got to the phone he hung up.
