calls have been coming in for over a week, when we answer they just hang up and when we call back it just rings and rings, FCC, verizon etc should do something to disconnect this line.
I got a call from the phone number a few minutes ago under the same number and had the same story. Someone was posing as the police or someone from the sheriff's office. He hung up the phone during some cross questioning I had done.

I continue to get these calls. When I ask who they are calling for or even answer "this is me" I get hung up on. If they want money that's a silly way of asking
I have also been contacted over fifty times in the last month by agencies looking for money. I have never given any.
Calls every few weeks. As soon as I hear murmuring in the background, I know it's a telemarketer. I just lay the receiver down on the table and walk away. Eventually they hang up.
