Someone called me over a year ago telling me they were trying to serve me legal papers. I told them to serve them. I've never received any papers and now they've contacted a neighbor and my step father. I have no clue how they got those numbers. I have never had my neighbors number.
called to inform me of an impending court date and possible judgment against me on an overdraft bank account from over a decade ago. gave me a number and case reference number. when I called their bluff on the account being way past statute and this being yet another ploy to obtain money from me they were very rude and ridiculously quick to state they would see me in court and then hung up on me. my advice: laugh at them obnoxiously and tell them nothing.
not sure this is a real phone number, same game as we received with another number about someone wanting to serve papers, etc. on an old account. S C A M
Someone from this number called my home, would not answer, and then hung up. Not sure what they were wanting, but after reading the other comments on here I'm sure would have been a scam of some sort if they had answered.
Just got a call from this number. They hung up as soon as I answered, but after reading the reports on here of them threatening others with fake court dates, I'm certain they were the same ones who have been harassing a close friend of mine. In the last week she was threatened with warrants, court dates, arrest if she didn't call them back in 10 minutes with $750, loss of tax refunds, and that she has unpaid debt and they were coming for her. Please don't take these scammers seriously and give them any money!
