Hung up when I answered, so I called back.  Turns out to be "ERS, Inc." calling for "Myrtle Vann"....Now, I know of a Myrtle Vann...she's a peripheral relative...relative of an in-law.  But she livesin a completely different state.  When I tried to explain this to the first person (obnoxious woman who wanted me to give her my phone number when it appeared on her screen, so she was looking right at it...and when I stated that they needed to call the MS numbers, NOT the VA numbers, she was too dense to figure out how to do that).  She said she was terminating the call since I didn't want to speak to anyone AFTER I asked to speak to a supervisor!!  Called back, got a different person, who read my number off to me (gee, 1st person said she couldn't do that...hmmm), and I said that they needed to remove that number because the person they were calling for was not, nor had they ever been part of my household and that they lived in a different state.  This person got threatening with me when I honestly answered their questions (I've never met the woman in person, so how the heck do I know if she is employed or not...sheesh!), and once again I got hung up on.  Called a 3rd and calmly said that if they didn't listen and take down the information that I was giving them, regarding the person that they are trying to reach (meaning that she has NEVER lived with me, that she does NOT live in VA...the state that she DOES live in, and the people that she DOES live with) that I would be filing a complaint with the state's attorney among others...finally...they shut up and listened instead of continuing to badger me for information that I had already told them I couldn't provide...

OBNOXIOUS to say the least....but...we shall see if they actually follow through to remove my number from their database
