I don't know who the hell these people are but they called my house, asked for my 9 year old daughter and then played some pro life message. They are messed up!!!!
I have received a phone call from these twits everyday at many different times. Since 217 is obviously a cell phone prefix, I would guess they are scammers. I don't answer my land line and have the ringer turned off also. People like this are the reason. If I didn't need it for the burglar alarm, I would not even have a land line. Since they keep calling everybody and not leaving messages, I would guess they are some sort of scam like reverse mortgage or security alarm company or something like that. Telemarketing companies often pay pennies by the call, but more if they deliver their pitch. The lazier ones just call and let it ring a few times and hang up.
