Like the rest of you, mine was a threat from the IRS as a last warning they were filing a law suit against me. Bring that phony lawsuit on. I wish there was a better way to stop scam calls. When they come in on my cell, that's where I draw the line. My home phone is used strictly for faxes and I never pick up because 9x out of 10 it's calls like this! Infuriating.
Called left message on machine. Machine voice said it was IRS call with a final call that they were filing a law suit against us never mentioned our name said to call back 423-314-8948 right away when I tried to call it back it just rang and rand
This is a phone scam. The real IRS never issues telephone messages like this. Blick the number on your phone if you can, and/or file a complaint with the guvment
Agree with everyone else...apparently they are busy dialing for dollars today. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE BACK. They need to go out of business because everyone is too smart for their BS. Evil doers like this are disgusting.
I had a message from this number this afternoon. I "did" call them back just to screw with them. I acted real scared at first then I turned the table on them and told them I was onto their little scam. Some jerk with an accent got very pissed off at me. He told me that if I didn't pay he was going to come to Charlotte and "F" my wife. That's right there that it is a scam.
