Like the rest of you, mine was a threat from the IRS as a last warning they were filing a law suit against me. Bring that phony lawsuit on. I wish there was a better way to stop scam calls. When they come in on my cell, that's where I draw the line. My home phone is used strictly for faxes and I never pick up because 9x out of 10 it's calls like this! Infuriating.
Received a call from this phone number. could or would not provide any kind of proof that we owed this money. He said that he could not provide any proof of the debt. I told him that with out proof, there is no debt and then proceeded to hang up on me.
Be aware that this same robocall comes from 636-253-2774 (CID "Cell Phone MO"). I got calls from both numbers within 5 minutes of each other. They are obviously spoofing the CID from their call center on the outbound calls.
The "Do Not Call Registry" would only be honored by honorable legit companies. These folks are scammers spoofing CIDs to make us think they are calling from the US, which is doubtful. Why would you expect that they would comply with the "Do Not Call Registry"
