It is Thanksgiving, 9:am, message sounded like a boiler room then some one made moaning sounds and hung up. It scared me at first then I googled and thank you all for posting. Now I know it was the microsoft scam. Sick B.....A.... and any other provanities you may wish to add.
Back in September I started receiving calls from this number. The dialect of the person sounded Indian. He identified himself as a Microsoft technitian saying my computer was infected with dangerous malicious ware. He asked to take control of my computer but I did not allow. He became angry and hung up on me. Since that time I receive at least four calls from this number each day; as early as 8am and as late as 9pm. Since I recognize the number, I never answer it and no message is left. Today, after receiving three calls in two hours, I finally blocked the number.
I've reported on this number before. On November 11, 2015, they called twice, but I didn't answer it either time as I thought I recognized it and found my previous post already here. It was a fake Microsoft caller. Glad I didn't pick it up as I'm really getting tired of these fakes.
