Report this number and any others to Tom Wheeler, the Chairman of the FCC.  His email is [email protected].  You will receive a form to complete and return so they can take action.  Here is what I received:

You are receiving this email in response to your inquiry to the FCC.

Thank you for your e-mail to Chairman Tom Wheeler regarding a telephone scam.
While there are many legitimate companies that use the telephone for marketing, consumers and business lose millions of dollars to telemarketing fraud each year. It's sometimes hard to tell the difference between reputable telemarketers and criminals who use the phone to rob people. You can protect yourself by learning how to recognize the danger signs of fraud. If you are a victim or attempted victim of telemarketing fraud, it's important to report the scam quickly so that law enforcement agencies can shut the fraudulent operation down.
Some of the various telemarketing scams are:
-Government Grants - Nigerian Money
-Loan Applications -Business Opportunities
-Fake Check Scams -Credit Card Loss Protection
Remember: The government doesn't telephone people offering money. Most credit card companies offer loss protection for free. Offers of business opportunities that are too good to be true usually are. Fake Check Scam is similar to Nigerian scam- callers are offering to pay for something you are selling via a third party because they are in another country or they are in another country and need an advance, etc.
You can file complaints about various scams with the FTC or your state Attorney General or consumer protection agency. For information on how to file complaints with the FTC, visit the FTC Web site at www.ftc.gov or call toll free at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357); TTY: 1-866-653-4261.
Contact information for your state Attorney General's office or consumer protection agency usually can be found in the blue pages of your telephone directory.
You may want to put a fraud alert on your credit report if you feel they are trying to steal your identity.
Victims of identity theft may contact the fraud departments of the three major credit bureaus, report the theft and ask that a "fraud alert" be placed on their file and that no new credit be granted without their approval:
Equifax: 1.800.525.6285
Experian: 1.888.397.3742
Trans Union: 1.800.680.7289
Contact you're bank to make them aware there is a scam. Also, contact your local law enforcement regarding the threats and notify your local newspaper so they can get the word out to other consumers that there is a scam in your area.
I hope this information has been helpful.
Thank you

I received a call today from 423-414-2535 the caller ID read Chattanooga Tennessee.  I knew it was a scam call but I decided to answer the phone anyway to find out exactly what the purpose of the call was for . After I said hello - I heard background noise -then I said hello again and finally a young man with an accent wished me a good morning and proceeded to tell me I had a problem with my computer. I proceeded to tell him and no uncertain terms that I in fact did not have a computer problem, because I do not own any computers. I told him to take my name off the list and that I had his number on my caller ID and that I am going to report this number to authorities. I am sure that I will be receiving calls from that number in the future as they are not afraid of anything, however, I just feIt that I  needed to vent and this poor man was on the receiving end !!  That is the risk you take for being a scammer !!

Every day I get a call from Consumer Assistance at 248-215-0437---They tell me that this is my last opportunity to lower my interest rate---they say to push 1 for assistance or to push 3 to quit getting calls.  Whichever one I push, the person asks if I owe more than $2000---I asked once for her name and she said, "Joy"---I told her to quit calling.  So far, that hasn't happened.  They call every afternoon.

Same as everyone else.  The man says his name is Max and that he is a certified windows professional.  I called him a crook and he said he would report me for using profanity.  I hung up.  He immediately called again.  I didn't answer.
