This guy called and asked if the name he gave was me, I said yes, (the old how are you tonight scheme)- said I'm not asking for money, you surprised? I said yea, we are helping people who got burned out of their homes, etc. I said i'm busy now and before I could say anything else he hung up. Typical scammer or telemarketer with a new scam. I hate thses guys- they called before and left no message on my asnwering machine , I have caller ID I'll just block this call.
They just called me a couple of minutes ago. A lady said
"Is this (used my real name)?" (as if I were a long long friend). I said, "Yes, it is." She said, "Just to make sure I have the right person, is your date of birth 12/15/47? I said, "And who are you?" She gasped and said, "Well, I have more manners than you!!!" She then hung up.
