I received a call today from this number on my cell today. I recognize the number as belonging to the Chattanooga Fire Fighters Association. They are trying to sell tickets to some concert that they do this twice a year. I think that they hire a telemarketer to do these calls and if so, only a portion actually goes to the fund. If you ever have given to this organization, they HOUND you relentlessly to give again. I just ignore their calls now.
Just got a call from this number about an hour ago. Glad I didn't hear it if it's the CFFA. As a previous post said, they HOUND the crap out of you soliciting funds or selling tickets to events. Even when you tell them you are at work, they try and keep you on the phone to guilt you into giving. IGNORE!
The called me so I called on the home and cell phone at same time
It took about 15 minutes but I guess he could not make any calls
When I was getting his busy signal so he had to finally answer
I asked to be put on his do not call list and I gave him my home
