They called my home number and we didn't answer the phone and as soon as my voice mail picked up they hung up and turned around and called right back again so they apparently do call repeatedly.
It is indeed a fundraiser for the Chattanooga Fire fighters Association. I have bought tickets in the past and attended a couple concert with friends. Also, the times I was not able to attend, I either sent them back for Chambliss kids or Orange Grove, or other community agencies to use.
To all those who don't know. I have bought tickets for several years now and have seen 3 of the concerts. It's not a scam it's a fun night out and Jack Thomson is the president and also fire chief at station 1 On main street. I have done some research and the president of United Way (organization. a lot of people donate to) makes $375000 a year plus expenses. These good people with the CFFA do a lot more for our local communityfor a lot less
OK, I appreciate you are raising money for a legitimate cause, but I cannot afford to participate. I have no interest in country music or concerts period. I never respond to unsolicited phone calls for any reason. I never give out personal information over the phone to any caller for any reason. I despise being badgered, poked, provoked, and belittled which your representative did, no means no - period. I finally hung up the phone when your representative keep rudely pushing for my cooperation. The only thing your representative did was alienate me. My number is registered with the Tennessee and Federal Do Not Call Registry. How about checking that before you start dialing numbers.
