I got a call from this number about reducing my interest rates on my Visa and MasterCards and they already knew my credit card numbers!! He wanted my to "verify" my SSN but I only have him the last 4 digits and then he transferred me to a lady who spoke very good English and when I told her I was REALLY LEERY about this she told me she was gonna explain everything to me but she needed my undivided attention and I was grocery shopping so she would call me back at 4pm (exactly 47 minutes from that time) but I got busy and forgot that she had never called back until this morning! I have called several times and what happens after about 8 rings is it picks up but there isn't anyone there and then it disconnects after about 10 seconds!! I KNOW I got scammed and I have NO idea what to do!! Does anyone else know????
Notify the banking institution that issued your credit card. I would seriously consider canceling those CCards and having them issue new ones. If you shopped at Target or another retailer before they had the security compromise then your CCARD numbers are already out there.
