my husband and I get these call everyday about 3:00 . They do not leave
any message or names. I never answer the phone because we do not
recognize the number. These calls are so annoying. My husband is ill so
those calls wake him. I am tired of racing to see who it is so won't wake
him. Please help me stop these annoying calls.
Got a call from Cleveland, TN, 423-716-6732, and they said it was for seniors on social security to 'give' them one of those life alert gizmos but it sounds like a scam to me. I have a Digitone Call Blocker and will be blocking them for sure. The Digitone Call Blocker is available on Amazon or straight from the company - both are the same price so I bought mine from the company. Works really fine and it sure is nice to get a phone call and somebody on the other end that you actually want to talk to and really cut down on the number of calls during the day. After having a Call Blocker I wouldn't want to be without one ever again. One of the best investments I ever made - does what the Do Not Call List was suppose to do.
They have GOT to stop - how is this even allowed?????? Months of this crap now..... We have elderly parents that might actually be trying to reach us...thanks Butch - getting the call blocker!!!
If you just want to save some bucks, a simple way to "block" a call is to save the phone number on your contacts list, name it Spam or something similar, and then assign a silent ringtone to it. The next time you get a call from them, you won't even know it. $#@! them.
My phone service doesn't provide call blocking, so I figured out another route.
