I too have had this# call me with the same threatening tactics as most of the aforementioned comments..I filed a complaint with the consumer financial protection bureau..the Ohio attorney General as well as the Tennessee attorney General..the tactics they use are against thelaw..they are not allowed to threaten imprisonment which is what they are doing..I highly suggest anyone that reads this and has had this kind of treatment from this# to please do the same..they claim there law firm is called u.r.law firm..Bristol Tennessee and the so called paralegals name that threatened me was nelson martin..please file a report to stop these criminals..
Just got a call from 4237583355 said that they were a law firm and that I was going to be arrested... Wants me to pay 788.17 today or they are coming to get me... I spoke with a manager said the above... Going to call a lawyer tomorrow but I'm worried they have all my information... Everything!
Got a call from this number and told him if he wont stop i will drive to anderson tn and find him myself. Then he hung up the phone. I told him i know tim white and he is a disability lawyer.
Got a call earlier about a owing money for a loan I never recieved. They called my work and said they warren going to have someone come to my work tomorrow and arrest me. I asked him what exactly is the lawsuit for because I never took any money from anyone. And he just kept saying the same thing over and over. So I just said "yeah okay guy" and he hung. Glad I know it's a scam now. But mad that he called my work. That's going to need to stop.
I received a message on my voice mail this morning from "Justin Smith" who claimed and all I could understand was "attorney on record" I did a reverse phone look up and saw it was TN, did not find an attorney with that name but saw multiple comments that this was a scam. I called back and then he called me back and said he was initiating a case against me. I asked him for what company or any information so that I could have one of my attorneys on record contact him. He became belligerent and said he hoped I had a good bankruptcy attorney and a good criminal attorney. I said you are a scam and he was still yelling when I hung up.
I received a call from this number on my personal cell phone and work phone today. Same story as you all about a $788 debt that has not be paid back, and threatening me with police showing up to my work and home. Does anyone know how we can report them to authorities? Has anyone done so already? I too am nervous about them having my personal information.
