Received several phone calls with no message left. Called back and it's Canadian online pharmacy...asian women on the other end.
Told them to NOT call me again...she just hung up on me.
2 strategies:
1) Keep talking and ask for the name s of the individual and company they represent. They are paid to sell and if you burn time they are losing opportunities as well as increasing the cost of their call.
2) If they haven't hung up on you ask questions about the FDA and legal importation of patented medications. Ask for there address so you can check with the FDA.
They will hang up........no calls in the last 3 days vs 5-7 calls per day.
You must thank Google for this new problem. Google is handing out american phone numbers like candy...to anyone, anywhere. We need to hold GOOGLE accountable for giving out american phone numbers to anyone without really checking on anything or running background checks. GOOGLEVOICE is what the service is called and its free. Try it and you will see how easy it is for you to get 4 phone numbers!!
I received a call from 423-939-9581 on 9/20/2012 at 5:26pm EDT. Caller ID displayed "Jasper TN". Did not answer and a message was left with a woman's voice that asked for me by name and then hung up. Apparently she did not realize she was speaking to an answering machine.
Based on the feedback I found here I added this number to my Google Voice block list. Google Voice already had the number on their spam list so it automatically went to voicemail and my phone never rang.
I have been receiving calls from the "Canadian Pharmacy" telemarketer almost daily since 2009. Some days I receive more than one call but usually not on weekends or after 9pm and before 8am. Except for one or two occasions I have never answered the calls and usually no message is left. The number they use changes every month or so but occasionally they will reuse an old number.
Since it appears that many of you are also blocking these numbers I thought I would post here the list of "Canadian Pharmacy" numbers and Caller ID names I have collected over the last 3 years.
