Just got a call from this number. CID said "Name Unavailable". According to our phone company, any number that shows a 1 or a 0 as the first number following the area code is not a valid number. It's a scrambled number. Did not answer call. Caller left no message. Surprise. Surprise. BS name. BS number. It's a robo call. If I ever do answer the call, and if someone is on the other end, I will tell them that even if they were to pay me to accept whatever it is they are selling, it would still be a cold day in hell before I would do business with them.
We get calls from this number all the time and we never answer them and there's never a message. We presume since we'd never seen a prefix with the one that it was a Robocall. Assuming our do-nothing Congress ever takes up the proposal to require the phone companies to enable their customers to block Robo calls, be sure to write your representative in support. The [***] on the US Chamber of Commerce will certainly be putting pressure on members of Congress not to block Robo calls. Their justification is that it would keep these companies from contacting their customers, like any of us would ever do business with these creeps anyway.
