Why are you calling? This scam is too common. IRS DOES NOT CONTACT BY PHONE! They send out a letter with complete details $$$ amounts and reasons for their inquiry.
I got a computer voice mail from " officer heather grey" saying that it was the internal revenue and that I needed to contact her back before they take legal action against me. I've called about 5 times and either the line is busy or it just rings then hangs up.
Phone call stating that I was in trouble. Very disturbing. I did not call back because I know I'm not in trouble, but someone with cognitive disability may be harmed from this and it needs to stop!
