Someone said they have a lawsuit against me on charges that I have no idea about and then he hung up on me after he was very rude and disrespectful he told me I was going to jail tommorrow and that they were gonna pick me up from my job he had my information what do I do now
Same thing just happened to my mother, they called her work and took information from her. This is a scam, you need to report to your bank before money is taken out of your account and/or credit cards are opened in your name.
They have done this to us.. saying we are gong to fedeal prison for wire transfer fraud. Never recieved anything. Called BBB n California and they are rated F and she said do not answer calls from them and do not sent anything to them. "They are scammers" in her words.
Just received 2 messages over the weekend - threatening me. something about attorneys. I called spoke to three different men (who all sounded like the same person). He told me that he was a US Government attorney and that there was a law suit out and quoted my last 4 of my ss#. then when i asked who he was and what this was about, he screamed and hung up. I called back and it rang once then went dead.
This is a nutter. I have no reason for any lawsuits and think that this guy might be committing fraud or a scam.
