I got the same robo call and when I called the number back (because I like to screw with these guys), the Indian guy who answered as someone, Internal Revenue Service, disconnected the call before I even got a chance to play! How rude!
I also got the same exact recorded call saying it was "Office Nicky Johnson" from the IRS, all else said was exactly what the rest of you said. Do they really think we're that stupid?? Apparently so...
So curious as to what they are after since no one has gotten them to answer when you call back. Idiots! No one is falling for your scam!
It was a black woman robo voice that was stupid enough to leave me voice mail in which she physically threatened me if I failed to return her call. I am filing a police complaint. I hope these scammers get caught!
Same "Nikki Johnson" automated voice called me 3 days ago. i never returned the call until today.
A guy answered which sounded like he had a Jamaican accent or something. I told him "i got a phone call from this number and was just returning the call."
He sounded as if he was speaking to someone in the background, then asked for my name.
I told him Ruby. then he whispered to that background person again "Ruby?"
then he hung up. total SCAMMER!
The call came from Los Angeles, CA.
