They called my workplace and was asking for me. Manager called me and told me about it, giving me a phone number and case number. After I found this website, I caught on that it was a scam. Never called them back.
This is a small "law firm" that buys debt that is past the Statue of Limitations, and uses shell phone numbers to call people and make threats that are clear violations of FDCPA. They say that you have three failed notices and are on the verge of missing a court date. However, there is NO COURT DATE and NO LAWSUIT. When you get a call from them, please immediately file a complaint with your Attorney General's Office, as I have done. We need to work together to shut them down.
