they are pests.. when I told them that no one has diabetes in our home, the woman with a accent of some sort
asked" how do you know" at that point I told her call here again and your going to get a "real nasty earful"
at that point she said if you hang up I will only call back, I did she did, so I handed the phone to my 1 1/2 grand and let her entertain the woman..funny she hasn't called back,oh I reported them to our state "donot call".
"California", huh? If that doesn't trigger you to think this is a bogus call, nothing will! These scam artists prey on the elderly and the uneducated, both of whom say, "Wow! A call from California! That's exotic - I better answer it!"
Just got a call from this number. I called them back and an automated voice came up-it is from a Diabetes Foundation-it says to remove your number to press 9. I did this and it said it would be removed within 14 days-Hmmm let's see
Some live male called and left a message at 6:11 pm, speaking very quietly, using my husband's name repeatedly then saying "pick up! pick up! I know you're home!" VERY annoying as the caller ID said "California" and a close friend happens to be out there on vacation. (We immediately paniced, but at least googled the number before calling back - thank God!) We are also on the DNC list for our state as well as federal DNC.
