Just received a call from this number-came up as 'unknown name'. This is even AFTER I put a block on my Verizon account, so any calls beyond that have to enter a code to get through to me. Was hoping the block would put an end to the non-stop, overwhelming number of calls, most of which are looking for individuals who owe money. It appears that filing a complaint with the Do Not Call website is NOT getting results. I am on that list. It is such an intrusion.
My mom got the call in Texas. They were asking for me but I live in California. The woman kept saying my name and Hello? My mom didn't pick up the phone and their was a lot of chatter in the background as if she was at a convention.
My mom gave me the number and I called back, of course the call can't be completed as dialed.
Am receiving x2 calls each day from this number. ID says California (424-354-5100). No message left on machine. Once I picked up, and there was no response. Will try to block number. It's very disconcerting.
