Recorded voice, said I owed $24 from a 'tax situation'. Threatened to 'take me into custody, and pursue legal action. Asked me to call back'. I did, received message to hold for a representative, I did, and it hung up on me.
Got a voicemail saying I'd be arrested for the legal action taken against me. Called back. Hung up on twice when I asked for contact information. Third time, spoke with "Mr. Watson" in "Los Angeles" with the IRS and Internal Revenue Service (identified both). Refused to give my own contact information until he gave me what I wanted and kept refusing until I wasn't getting anything else, then used his name, his supervisor's name, and the legit IRS contact info in LA, plus this phone number, to report them. Mr. Watson admitted it's a scam. Don't give them anything personal, but do try to get theirs so it can be reported.
