Received a threatening call from 424 444 0110. A recorded announcement stated an IRS representative Nikki/Nicky/Nickie Johnson was contacting me concerning an extremely urgent time-sensitive matter involving the IRS. I was to call back immediately. This is an IRS scam, where the call originator is purporting to be from IRS to be able to extort money to pay a non-existent debt.
They left a message telling me to call asap 'before they took action against me' I have searched it and found it to be a scam which I figured it was, as I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.
A recorded voice said I was being sued by the IRS and to have my lawyer call them back......yada yada yada.. I have seen on the news (Fox News) repeatedly that the IRS will NOT call you, it will only contact you via mail. Midway thru recording I hung up and googled the number and this is where it lead me. ☺️
