hey FYI if this is driving you crazy like it is me. Google Efinancial and at the very bottom of their webpage it says contact us. Click on it and send an email to [email protected] and ask them to remove you from their list. Then it will stop.
I filled out an online quote for life insurance through Commrce Bank Online (my bank). I got a call form this number about 2 hours later on my cell, but did not answer. It came up as 425-216-1247. Because it was my call, there was no other info. I then called them back to let them know to take my number off their list and not to call me. Hopefully I won't hear from them again.
Call from (425) 216-1247. When I answer the caller hangs up. The call comes in Monday through Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. I recive the call three times each day.
I too have been getting these calls. They call my work - I answer and they immediately hang up, then IMMEDIATELY my cell phone rings. I answer and again they hang up. How is this sales?? I called the number back and was put on a hold system with the whole Life Insurance Spiel going on... No name of the company or anything. I couldn't sit on hold since I am at work but I plan to call again later and get my number off their list. Who wants to deal with a company that will not leave messages or provide their company info when you call the number back? Certainly not me!
Not collectors. Aggressive, very aggressive, insurance sales force - internet only. 'Michael Rowell' runs an insurance business - EFinancial like Marsha stated earlier - out of Kirkland WA and uses the internet to ferret out sales. Computers do his calling and humans do the re-calls. Whatever you do - ignore or answer the call or redial - signals their computer to call more often till they can pressure a sale on you. All the computer needs is an answering message to know the # dialed is a real number. They have no sense of privacy.
He's a pest at best - a scam artist at worst. I just reported his practices to all the 'proper' authorities; like that's going to help...
