Who called from 4252428496

This number is for a SCAM! Please do not fall for it and give any bank information or credit card information.

I just received a call from this number informing me that I was just randomly selected by the Federal government to receive a grant of money of $8,500.00 and they wanted to know how I would like to receive it. I was given 3 options, 1.) a Western Union wired check, 2.) a direct transfer into my banking account and 3.) a direct transfer into my credit card. I decided to play along and chose #1 and they gave me a code number to call back to this number:  425-242-8496 and they would send me a check to the local Western Union office. The number that they called from was: 213-456-6756. it sounded very fishy so I did a search on the call back number and came upon this site.

At 12:30pm US-PDT (UST -07:00) I got a call directly from 425-242-8496.

Caller was male with a foreign accent.

Told caller I did not take calls from Washington State, especially from job recruiters and he just hung up.
