I have gotten a call from this number once a day, when i answer i hear silence, so lately been letting it go to my VM, and no VM left. Then recently i get calls twice a day, and today 4 times.
I called the number back and i get a busy signal. it's really annoying.
Caller (sounded like Pacific Market Research) left a message claiming to be doing a survey for the IRS to streamline reporting for my small business. (Problem - message was left on an unlisted home phone.) Caller left her name and a nine-digit callback reference code and an 877 number to call back. Obvious she was reading from a script and obvious she was calling from a phone boiler room. Received many calls from this number before they left a message.
Look at all of the explanations provided on this number that calls: they are all bogus. I promise you, this is a scam with none of the reasons they are telling you they are calling being legit. They want to keep you on the phone for a certain amount of time in order to access the information from your phone that they need. STOP ANSWERING THESE CALLS!
