The debt collector has called for the last few months. When I finally answered, the claim was from a Nations Bank account. When I asked for information about the claim, he had none. When I asked for SSN verification, it was not my SSN. When he told me the address, I said that I have never had a PO Box. Even better is that I just recently moved to the city 18 months ago, so any address prior to that could not be mine. He said that I was lying. He wanted my attorney contact information, I said that I would represent myself. He informed me that if i represented myself, I would lose. I talk to go ahead and file. Instead, he noted in the file that I verified my identity. The next caller got the same information, apologized and hung up. But I am waiting for the next call. Filed a complaint with the Fed.
Got a message from Steve Johnson. He tried to sound intimidating, but he couldn't read his script very well. Threatened legal action against me. I looked him and IAM, Inc up... they have multiple complaints and he is not a lawyer. I have no debts. Reported him to the DNC, FBI, BBB, and attorney general. Have fun with that, pal.
It is not fraudulent it is a collection agency. They are calling regarding something in collections and if you dont set up payment or arrangements they send approval to a court for garnishment of wages
So technically it is a legal matter.
