Received VM on 6/29 stating "Final notice from the IRS that we are filing a lawsuit against you" - called # back and was a fast busy signal - filed complaint to the Federal Trade Commission because I know there shouldn't be any lawsuit against me and the IRS uses the postal service for communication.
I received a phone call from 425-296-0873 on Tuesday morning 6/23/2015. The computerized female voice recording said its the IRS and this is the their last attempt to contact me before they file a lawsuit. I was instructed to call the phone number back immediately to speak with an agent. I didn't believe them and I didn't call the number back. Who knows what kind of scam they are running and what a direct call from my home phone would do.
I also just received a Voice mail from this # , saying that the IRS was filing a Law Suit against Me.
So ,I freaked out & caled the # back & All I got was a recording saying that the # couldn't be completed as dialed. Someone's got to put a stop to this BULLCRAP!!!!
Just received a call from my wife who told me we had a threatening call from the IRS - 425-296-0873 - saying there is an arrest warrant out against us. He wanted me to draw cash from the bank and go to a place called "ACE CASH EXPRESS" to make a payment. These guys are creeps!
The guy who could barely speak good English informed me his name was Jerry Smith. That should have been enough to warn anybody what a ridiculous attempted scam this is!
